Rediscovering my winter wardrobe as the days get cooler. Loving my #tajanatrousers by @just_patterns as much as the first day I made them.

@abby_sews and I have been working on a 2nd collab pattern and I chuffed to announce we are making progress and are getting closer to release. The Jane Dress #msjanedress was designed by Abby and transformed into a PDF pattern by me. It’s a quick and satisfying sew that looks especially great in linen. I will be wearing my Jane dress this Autumn with a trench and high tops ✌🏼

Introducing the @sew.lalapatterns Zoe Jacket ✨ My version was inspired by the gorgeous hand embroidered robes from Lucy Folk. After several hours of zig zag and 6 reels of thread later I’m pretty chuffed with the outcome. Not as luxurious as hand embroidery but good enough. I chose not to line my jacket due to Queensland’s barmy weather but lining is an option with this one. I used a twill of some flavor that’s been in my sewing stash for an eternity. Glad it finally found it’s form ✌🏼

Holidays are the best! Especially when you get to wear one of your fav me mades in a beautiful stone building perched at the top of a hill in the middle of nowhere.

Yesterday I celebrated another year around the sun 🌞 I planned on making a birthday outfit but it just didn’t happen this year but there’s always next year or even next week ✌🏼. Instead my fav makes since this time last year and my favorite make of all time, my son 👩‍👦. I remember my 22nd birthday when I just found out I was pregnant. We’ve come so far ✨
